Electric strike
An electric door opener is an electrical device mounted in the door frame that controls access to a building or room. Its main task is to allow the door to be opened by an electrical signal, usually coming from an intercom system, access control or a button.
The electric door strike can operate in different modes, such as "fail-secure," where the door remains closed in the event of a power failure, or "fail-safe," in which the door opens. Its design allows for easy integration with security systems, and provides an additional layer of access control to buildings, especially in restricted or high-security areas.
