A warm sill
Warm window sills come in two construction variants, differing in construction and functionality. The first type is a standard sill, made as a one-piece piece of durable insulating material, such as extruded polystyrene (XPS) or EPS polystyrene. It provides simple and quick installation and effective thermal insulation over the entire surface.
The second variant is a warm sill with a separate Klinaryt, which consists of two parts: the Klinaryt and the insulating part intended for under the sill. Klinaryt is a specially shaped component, responsible for the stable seating of the structure and minimizing thermal bridges where the sill meets the wall. The insulating part under the sill provides a base for the installation of an interior or exterior sill, providing additional thermal protection and load-bearing capacity.
